The teaser for Marvel’s highly anticipated Thor: Love And Thunder is here, and had were some familiar faces we couldn’t help but cheer for.
The last we saw of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, we weren’t sure what would become of this rugged lovable God of Thunder. By the end of Endgame, Thor had passed off the command of New Asgard to Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, and set off on a space adventure with the Guardians of The Galaxy to find healthier coping mechanisms.
After making fans wait for what seemed like an eternity – given the complaints online – Marvel has finally dropped the much-anticipated trailer for Thor: Love And Thunder. If the chaotic teaser is anything to go by, he’s having a good time of it.
With Taika Waititi – who also directed Thor: Ragnarok – at the helm, the movie follows the God of Thunder quite literally getting his life back together and restructuring his thought processes.
“Those hands were once used for battle, but now they’re but humble tools for peace,” says Chris Hemsworth in the opening.
In addition to setting up Thor’s P.S. I Love You era, the movie also brings the original band back together… or what’s left of it.
While we don’t see much of her, we do get a glimpse of what Waititi had been teasing all this while – Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster as Thor. In the comics, Jane Foster picks up the Mjolnir while battling cancer.
