Jay-Z once famously rapped “I’m not a businessman; I’m a business, man,” and that’s becoming increasingly easier to see, as news has surfaced that Jay and his wife Beyoncé have reportedly trademarked the names of their new twin babies.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, and his wife Beyoncé famously welcomed their first child, Blue Ivy, into the world just over five years ago. That news sent the world of music into an absolute frenzy as everyone tried to be the first to know what their child’s name was going to be. Of course, when news broke that Beyoncé was again pregnant, this time with twins, the excitement was doubled. Following the birth of their twins on June 18th, no news has come from the power couple about what their twins’ names are, but what has come forward, is a trademark application for the twins’ names.

As TMZ first reported, BGK Trademark Holdings, Beyoncé’s holding company that also owns the trademark for the names Beyoncé, Beyhive, and Blue Ivy Carter, reportedly filed for trademark licenses on June 26th for the names Sir and Rumi Carter. TMZ notes that these trademarks are for fragrances, cosmetics, key chains, baby teething rings, strollers, mugs, water bottles, hair ribbons, playing cards, tote bags, sports balls, rattles and novelty items.

While Jay-Z and Beyoncé haven’t yet made an official statement as to the legitimacy of the names (heck, the announcement of the birth of the twins was made by Beyoncé’s dad), it’s looking like the chances are pretty good that you’ll be hearing guest spots from Sir and Rumi Carter on their parents’ albums a few years down the line.
