A documentary about the “meteoric rise” of acclaimed athlete Conor McGregor is set to be released next month, with the full trailer now seeing its release.
As Rolling Stone reports, the documentary, which follows Conor McGregor’s journey from unemployment to becoming one of the world’s highest-paid athletes, is set to be released in Australia in theatres Nov 9 and on DVD November 29. Now, less than a month before its release, the full trailer has now been shared online.
Directed by Gavin Fitzgerald, Notorious is set to feature appearances from the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dana White, and Dee Devlin. McGregor first shared a portion of the documentary back in July, prior to his high-profile bout with Floyd Mayweather, but on Thursday gave fans access to the extended trailer in anticipation of the project’s release.
“Filmed over the course of 4 years, Notorious is the exclusive, all-access account of Conor’s meteoric rise from claiming benefits and living in his parents’ spare room in Dublin to claiming multiple championship UFC belts and seven figure pay-packets in Las Vegas,” a promotional website for the film states.
“Featuring unprecedented access, never before seen moments and explosive fight footage, this is the ultimate behind-the-scenes look at a sporting icon and his spectacular rise from the bottom to the very top.”
