We’ll get a taste of N’awlins when Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue make the journey from the Big Easy to Sydney for a Bluesfest sideshow next April.

Melding together funk, hip hop beats, rock dynamics and improvisations, the band has gained a reputation for putting on some of the most genuinely entertaining performances around. Since kicking off his career as a band-leader at the age of six, Shorty and his crew have racked up a Grammy nomination, a chart topping album in 2011’sFor Trueand gigs the world over.
