Rejoice! Twitter have just announced that they will be bringing back the OG reverse-chronological feed, just in time for award season. Start stretching out those thumb ligaments because live-tweeting is coming back in a big way.

Twitter announced today that it will be introducing a new toggle tool in the app that will allow users to switch from the ranked timeline, to the original, sensical, reverse-chronological feed.

Twitter introduced timeline ranking nearly four years ago. Which is a cruel reminder of how much time you probably waste on the internet. As The Verge notes, users have always been able to temporarily switch between timelines. But if you, like me, love to complain about things without looking for a solution – you probably didn’t know about it.

The new feature is called the “sparkle” which is cute as shit. It can be accessed by tapping the cluster of small stars on the timeline.

The toggle will begin rolling out today. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
