The 2016 instalment of the prestigious US-based competition saw a whole host of Australian musicians formally acknowledged, including winners in several genres.

Unsigned Only, one of the prominent music competitions worldwide, saw an incredible 24 Australian musicians acknowledged this year, bearing great signs for the future of music in this country.

Among the winners were Sydney’s Moza and Phebe Starr, placing first in the EDM and Adult Album Alternative categories respectively. Adelaide’s Dino Jag achieved second place in Adult Contemporary, while Melbourne’s Woodlock took out runner-up in the Rock placings.
