We are just as surprised as you are, but somehow between the changing landscape of fashi0n and the global pandemic altering our dress sense forever, Crocs become the epitome of cool. But not to Victoria Beckham…

And while there may be many celebs who are trying to pioneer the Crocs coolness era, Justin Bieber definitely is among them to take centre stage.

Earlier this year he released his second Crocs collab which came in as a lilac socks and Crocs combo, with cute drew house Jibbitz to match – Drew House of course being his personal brand.

Bieber first collaborated with Crocs last year, with his own apparel brand, drew house. The collab featured a classic yellow clog, which reportedly sold out in ninety minutes. At the time of first collab’s release, Bieber issued a statement, saying, “I wear Crocs all the time, so designing my own pair came naturally.”

He added, “Crocs with socks is definitely the move. “They’re comfortable, they’re fashionable, and most importantly it’s fun to bring your own style to how you wear them. It’s been a blast bringing this latest collaboration with Crocs to life.”

And now fast forward to June, it’s been a few months since he unveiled his socks and Crocs combo. And naturally, for majority, it did not disappoint. That being with Victoria Beckham as the exception…

Beckham was one of the latest celebs to be gifted a pair of the lilac clogs, but unfortunately to JB they weren’t received all that well. Upon opening her pair, she took to Instagram stories to ask her followers if she’d be wearing them or not. She wrote, “Will I be wearing lilac Crocs?!”

With 57% voting no and the remaining voting yes, it showed that the majority of her followers understand her on a deeper level. She posted the results, writing,  “Well that was close! I think I’d rather die but thanks anyway Justin Bieber.”

Shouldn’t’ knock it ’til you try it – but okay.
