Vin Diesel has walked late Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow down the aisle at her wedding in the Dominican Republic.

22-year-old Meadow announced that she tied the knot with actor Louis Thornton-Allan earlier this month via a compilation video of the festivities.

In the montage, Meadow can be seen hugging Jordana Brewster, who also starred in the Fast & Furious franchise alongside Walker and Diesel.

Later on, she is seen arm in arm with Diesel, who is her godfather. Another image that she shared from the nuptials shows Diesel walking her down the aisle in place of her late father Walker.

Meadow opened up to Vogue about how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted her wedding plans, revealing that Thornton-Allan’s family could not attend the ceremony.

“A lot of close friends whom we consider family were also unable to attend due to travel restrictions,” she said.

She also revealed how she decided on wearing a custom Givenchy Haute Couture dress designed by Matthew Williams.

“I wanted something timeless, chic, and elegant… Matthew’s clear-cut and modern touch made it the perfect piece,” she said.

Meadow was just 15 years old when her father Walker died in a car accident in November 2013 at the age of 40.

Last month, she paid tribute to Walker on what would have been his 48th birthday by sharing a picture of the two of them when she was a child.

“Happy birthday daddy, I love you,” she wrote in the caption.

Diesel has also honoured Walker since his death, naming his baby daughter Pauline after him in 2015.

“There’s no other person that I’m thinking about as I’m cutting this umbilical cord,” Diesel told NBC’s Today.

“I knew he was there and it felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory a part of my memory, a part of my world.”
