Virgin Australia has released its Black Friday sale early, and over 500,000 flights are on sale with prices starting from as little as $55.

The flights depart and return to Australia and include both domestic and international destinations like Vanuata and Bali.

Customers can get their hands on a return flight from Gold Coast to Bali for just $489 return, from Brisbane to Vanuatu for $539 return and Sydney to Samoa for $539 return. As for domestic travel, there are flights from Sydney to Byron for $55 one way and Brisbane to Darwin for $169 one way.

Fare are on sale now, and can be booked online for travel on selected dates between January and June 2023, and the sale will end on November 29th, if not sold out before.

Virgin Australia Group Chief Commercial Officer Dave Emerson said that he is expecting the flights to be snapped up quickly.

‘We have over half a million Black Friday fares on sale from as low as $55, representing a wonderful opportunity for Australian travellers to lock in a great value fare now, for travel next year,’ said Mr Emerson.

‘This is one of the busiest periods for air travel in our history, and with demand so high until the end of the year, we are encouraging customers to plan ahead in 2023, to get the best value when booking a flight. Our Black Friday sale is a great way to do just that.

‘We expect the sale fares to sell fast, so we are recommending customers to get in quickly,’ he said.
