After Vision’s mysterious resurrection and then disappearance in Disney+’s WandaVision, it seems the robot is finally coming back to the small screen in Vision Quest.

According to Jeff Sneider of The Hot Mic podcast, Marvel Studios will be starting up the writers room for a series following Paul Bettany’s Vision.

Not much about Vision Quest is known at this point, not having even been officially confirmed by Marvel. But there is much conjecture about what Vision’s ‘quest’ will be, and if it is meant to be taken in a literal sense.

At the end of WandaVision, we are introduced to a new version of Vision that was reassembled and brought back to life by S.W.O.R.D. However, this new incarnation doesn’t have the memories and life experiences of the original Vision.

Many fans are speculating that the series could quite simply be Vision’s quest to find himself again.

Others are suggesting it could be a direct tie to Wanda, who after turning straight up evil in Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness,  is seemingly killed.

That being said, Marvel characters have a habit of evading death with ease and it is theorised Vision could be on a quest to bring Wanda back from the dead or help her refind the hero in her.

Sneider also hinted that it could be connected to the Marvel comic run of the West Coast Avenger’s which see’s Vision having his memory wiped and discovering the truth behind his children with Wanda.

Co-host John Rocha doubles down on this idea, suggesting that they might’ve been setting up a West Coast Avengers on Disney+ for some time. Especially with the introduction of Vision’s classic white look, Wyatt Russell’s U.S. Agent in Falcon and the Winter Soldier and the upcoming Thunderbolts.

Not to mention Jeremy Renner openly stating his enthusiasm to lead the West Coast Avengers.
