Watch Ball Park Music cover Powderfinger’s ‘My Happiness’ for ‘Like A Version’

Ball Park Music kept it all the way Brisbane on this morning’s ‘Like A Version’ with a faithful cover of Powderfinger’s ‘My Happiness’.

Powderfinger’s classic topped the triple j Hottest 100 in 2000, a stat perfectly engineered to make the reader feel old. Sorry ’bout that.

It’s interesting to think there are a number of younger triple j listeners not familiar with the original, who are now delving into Odyssey Number Five.

Interestingly Ball Park Music aren’t the first to tackle the song for ‘Like A Version’, with the always-brilliant Clare Bowditch nailing her cover of the song back in 2010.
