It seems Courteney Cox may have found a replacement Ross, as she’s recreated her classic dance routine from Friends with none other than Ed Sheeran.
That’s right, the unlikely duo have low-key broken the internet with their version of the routine Cox originally performed with her on-screen brother David Schwimmer.
For the uninitiated, the infamous routine was a choreographed dance that featured in a season six episode of Friends.
In ‘The One With The Routine’, Monica and Ross brought back the rehearsed act from their childhood to try to catch the camera’s attention on the Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve set.
While the episode may have aired over 20 years ago, it’s clear from the videos posted to social media that Cox has still got the moves.
“Just some routine dancing with a friend…” wrote Cox alongside the clip of her and Sheeran.
Meanwhile, Sheeran wrote that the pair “had a reunion of our own this weekend,” in reference to the Friends reunion which finally went to air last week.

As for why the routine was’t receated during the reunion special, director Ben Winston told The Hollywood Reporter‘s TV’s Top 5 podcast that Cox and Schwimmer weren’t keen on the idea.
“I did say [to Schwimmer and Cox], ‘Would you ever consider doing ‘The Routine’?’ And both of them were like, ‘Oh, please don’t make us do that,’” Winston said.
“There were certain things I really cared for, like the table read or the quiz. I also couldn’t work out where it would have worked. I’m not sure it would have landed 20 years later. But it was definitely on my list of ideas that I pitched.”
