For Love Island UK fans, the past two months have been a rollercoaster. Over 48 episodes and 58 days we’ve seen explosive fights, infidelity, tears, broken hearts and (some) love. And, tonight, the reality TV show that’s captured the attention of millions of viewers worldwide comes to a close.

Of course, for those located in the UK, watching the Love Island finale is a breeze, but for us Aussies, it’s not quite as easy as switching on the British ITV channel on our TVs and sitting back with a bucket of popcorn.

However, there are fortunately a few ways to watch the action as it unfolds. The easiest, and most straightforward way to watch the Love Island UK finale in Australia is through Nine Now. Channel 9’s streaming platform uploads episodes at 6pm AEST. On August 1st, 2022 the second last episode – which sees one couple dumped and the islanders reunited with their families inside the villa – will be uploaded. The finale will be available for viewing on Nine Now from 6pm August, 2nd.

Brits will have the first opportunity to watch the episode live, as it screens at 9pm on August 1st UK time (6am AEST on August 2nd) on ITV2. If you live in Australia and can’t bear to wait 12 hours after the original screening time to find out who wins on Nine Now, you can watch the finale as it plays out on the ITV website with a VPN that’s set to the UK.

The current season of Love Island UK has received the highest ratings in the show’s eight-season history. Many viewers on social media have attributed the success of season eight to islanders Davide and Ekin-Su’s entertaining antics. The popular couple is clear favourites to win the show, according to bookies.

Ekin Su and Davide currently have £1.14 return. This means if a punter bets £1 on the couple and wins, they receive £1.14 back.

Tasha and Andrew have a £12 return, Luca and Gemma have a £14 return, and Indiyah and Dami have a £23 return.
