The West Wing actress Mary McCormack has shared frightening footage of her husband’s Tesla Model S shooting out flames in heavy traffic on Santa Monica Boulevard.
Micahel Morris — a British director — only became aware of the impeding danger after a couple flagged him down and alerted him to the fact that his vehicle was acting more like one of those flamethrowers that Elon Musk also sells.
Tesla called the incident “an extraordinarily unusual occurrence”and said they are investigating the incident.
“Thank God my three little girls weren’t in the car with him”, McCormack wrote on Twitter, along with the below video of the car fire.
