Liverpool City Council, the Western Sydney Wanderers FC, and Liverpool Migrant Resource Centre are teaming up together for an inclusive celebration to celebrate 15 years of Harmony Day.

The Western Sydney Wanderers will be represented at the event, providing coaching clinics, football activities, and players will come down to meet and greet fans from the Liverpool region.

The event will also hold a Citizenship Ceremony to welcome new local Australian citizens, as well as a variety of creative arts, entertainment and activities for kids.

Harmony Day celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity by promoting social inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging. Liverpool is one of the most diversive communities in NSW, representing over 150 birthplaces.

Harmony Day 2015 celebrations take place at Bigge Park, Liverpool on Thursday March 19 from 10am until 2pm. More information is available from liverpool.nsw.gov.au
