There is nothing like a perfectly concocted peanut butter spread to just hit the spot. On a piece of toast, straight from the jar, or whatever tickles your pickle.
And while we must admit that here in Australia, we are definitely spoilt for choice when it comes to peanut butter spreads, we just got even more lucky. Cue the new peanut spread that just hit the shelves here Down Under, thanks to Pic’s and Whittaker’s.
According to NewsHub, the news of the heavenly (yet devilishly good) collaboration actually broke back in January. And it’s also the first time that a new flavour combination has been added to the Pic’s roster ever.
But now salt and peanut butter aren’t the only ingredients in the mix, Whittaker’s chocolate has also joined the party to create an unreal chocolate peanut butter spread. In Pic’s Peanut and Chocolate Butter you can expect to find crunchy peanuts, sea salt and two flavours of Whittaker’s chocolate – creamy milk and 72% dark chocolate from Ghana.
According to Pedestrian.TV, each jar of peanut butter is priced at $9 each and is currently available to purchase at Coles and will soon also be available to purchase from Woolies supermarkets too.
This amazing spread isn’t the only great New Zealand related news we’ve had recently. Earlier this month, it was announced that the travel bubble between New Zealand and Australia had finally been burst.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said, “Cabinet was presented with advice today that conditions for opening up quarantine-free travel with Australia had been met.”
She added, “Those undertaking travel on either side of the ditch will do so under the guidance of flyer beware. People will need to plan for the possibility of travel being disrupted if there is an outbreak.”
