The Hans Christian Anderson story Wild Swans comes to the stage of the Opera House for a second time on Sunday July 19.
Originally performed by the Australian Ballet in 2003, this new adaptation sees the story narrated by Amanda Muggleton, with words adapted for stage by dirctor Rodney Fisher Am. The original Elena Kats-Chernin score has been adapted bySydney violinist Victoria Jacono-Gilmovich and pianist John Martin to tellthe story of Princess Elise, her search for her lost brothers and her rescue by 11 white swans.
Two performances will be held on the day in the Utzon Room in two family friendly sessions. Wild Swans promised to be a captivating afternoon of music and storytelling for audience members of all ages.
Tickets can be booked through The Sydney Opera House for either 3pm or 6pm on Sunday July 19.
