Sydney-based solo artist Wilder Lee has announced a string of hometown shows in support of his new single, ‘Into The Wild’.

Released independently earlier this month, the 28 year-old’s track has combined acoustic guitar, bare vocals and focused lyricism to give us a snapshot of what to expect from his upcoming EP to be released later this year.

The songwriter has paired up with producer Matt O’Connor to combine his diverse musical influences and experiences from moving from Manilla, where he was born, to Australia.

“The song was birthed out of a lot of tough crap in my life, and pretty much sets the tone for the upcoming EP later this year,” says Lee.

Lee’s first single launch show is this Thursday May 19 at Newtown Social Club supporting Sahara Beck. Then catch him Tuesday May 24 at The Bald Faced Stag, Saturday June 11 at The Record Crate in Glebe and finally on Sunday July 3 at The Soda Factory in Surry Hills.
