To celebrate the home entertainment release of The Dark and the Wicked on July 7th, we’re giving away 10 copies of the hauntingly captivating film on Blu-ray so you can enjoy it (or just shit yourself scared) from the comfort of the couch.

Considering most of the country is in lockdown right now, we thought we’d reward our readers and give you a little somethin’ to keep you occupied during this stint at home.

Starring Marin Ireland (The Irishman), Michael Abbott Jr. (Fear the Walking Dead), Julie Oliver-Touchstone (Preacher), Lynn Andrews (The Unicorn) and Tom Nowicki (Mr. Mercedes), The Dark and the Wicked is filled with tantalising terror and has a supernatural undertone thrown in for good measure.

As described in the official synopsis:

On a secluded farm, a man is bedridden and fighting through his final breaths while his wife slowly succumbs to overwhelming grief. Siblings Louise and Michael return home to help, but it doesn’t take long for them to see that something’s wrong with mum—something more than her heavy sorrow. Gradually, they begin to suffer a darkness similar to their mother’s, marked by waking nightmares and a growing sense that an evil entity is taking over their family.

Written and directed by The Strangers’ Bryan Bertino, this captivating horror film is set to have you on the edge on your seat, just as any good horror should. If you’re a fan of films like Poltergeist, Lights Out or The Conjuring, The Dark and the Wicked is bound to be another one to add to your list of frightening favourites.
