The hilarious Broadway hit The Wedding Singer is headed to Sydney in July, and to celebrate we’re giving away three double passes to the preview show, so you and a friend can see it before anyone else.
From the writer of the original smash-hit movie starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, the feel-good ’80s musical is set to hit the stage at Sydney’s State Theatre, so we’re giving three lucky muscial fans (and three very lucky friends) the chance to head along to the preview show of The Wedding Singer on Thursday, July 1st.

Following performances on Broadway and across the UK, before making its way to Adelaide and Melbourne where it received standing ovations, now it’s Sydney’s turn to see just why this acclaimed show achieved a Tony Award nomination for Best Musical.
All your favourite characters from the film are brought to life on the stage by a talented cast, including Sydneysider Christian Charisiou, who stars in his breakout title role as Robbie Hart – and has even been said to be “funnier than Adam Sandler” – as well as musical theatre heavyweights like Teagan Wouters (former lead in Kinky Boots), who plays the role of Julia made famous by Drew Barrymore; Stephen Mahy, one of the original Jersey Boys who now takes on the role of Glen; and Kirby Burgess (Dirty Dancing) who returns to her hometown of Sydney in the role of Linda, among many others.
The Wedding Singer features an incredible original soundtrack with music by Matthew Sklar (Elf The Musical), lyrics by Chad Beguelin (Aladdin), and brought to life by Musical Director Daniel Puckey (Muriel’s Wedding The Musical, The Book of Mormon, The Wizard of Oz, The Lion King).
