The Sydney Opera House has always been one of the main attractions on the Vivid Light Walk. The incredible colour and imagery that lights up the sails every year has become an icon of the festival.

This year, the Opera House will have another part to play in the festival, as the light walk is extended inside for the first time. Universal Everything, the creative collective responsible for this year’s Lighting the Sails, will celebrate a free exhibition in the Western Foyer of the Opera House. In the Box Office Foyer will be Squarepusher’s Stor Eiglass Virtual Reality Experience, and the festival’s new pop-up bar,The Deep Purple Pool Hall.

The complete takeover of the Opera House is part of the Vivid LIVE program. The exhibition will feature video artworks from some of Universal Everything’s collaborations with bands, brands, and record labels.

The exhibition will be on display for the duration of Vivid Sydney 2015, which runs from Friday May 22 – Monday June 8.
