The former frontman of Zombie Ghost Train, Stu Arkoff, has begun making music under a different name and has released a killer new single ‘My Dark Past’.

A Man Called Stu heralds the return for Arkoff, who’s darkly charismatic and ‘swampy-tonk’ sound saw his previous band develop a strong cult following. It’s been a long time coming for Arkoff, who, following the split of Zombie Ghost Train, took an extended break from music. Last year signalled his return with his new, current band, and was rewarded with a sold-out debut show in Sdyney.

A Man Called Stu will perform at The Basement on Friday May 9, alongside The Morrisons, Blackbear and Cash Sister DJs. Ticketsare $15 + bf. Doors from 7:30pm.
