Belvoir is putting a modern spin on the classic fairytale.
Cinderella is getting a modern reinterpretation complete with dodgy Chinese food, loneliness, missed phone calls, and a little bit of magic. Mandy McElhinney (best known for her role as Rhonda from the Rhonda and Ketut car insurance commercials) takes the title role as Ashley, a single Sydney woman in her 30s who flees in terror from a blind date to find herself with Ash (Matthew Whittet).
Cinderella is on at the Downstairs Theatre inBelvoir from Thursday November 13 till Sunday December 7.
