The work of acclaimed indigenous artist Kitty Napanangka Simon is set to be showcased at a new exhibition presented by Coee Gallery.

Simon’s work combines vivid colour and simple geometric patterns to stunning effect. She first started painting in the early ’80s, but took a break from the art world in order to raise her family. Her re-entrance to creative spheres in 2008 was greeted with huge critical praise, and from then she has continued to wow. Her works have been showcased around the world, making her a genuine Australian artistic export.

The exhibition ofKitty Napanangka Simon’s work runs from Saturday March 5 till Sunday April 10 at the Cooee Gallery. More information is available from the website, here.
