Christmas is coming early to the German International School as it gets ready to host its annual Christmas Markets next month.

Transforming in to a frosty winter wonderland, the GIS is set to celebrate Christmas with a twist, offering frolics and fun for the whole family.

The school will be adorned with twinkling fairy lights and shimmering snowflakes under the open sky, creating a scenic backdrop for the delectible delights of the open air market stalls.

Visitors can expect to enjoy a variety of famous German Christmas treats, including homemade gluwein (mulled wine), bratwurst and waffles, as well as taking part in the German lantern walk as students and visitors fill the air with traditional winter lantern songs.

This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in two different cultures, so you’re looking for a lovely way to create lasting memories with friends and family and to have a taste of German Christmas culture, find out more about the event here.

Experience the magic at the German International School, Terrey Hills, on Friday August 12 and Saturday August 13.
