Donald Trump, the 73-year-old president of the United States, still has to be tricked to eat his vegetables and have the ice cream hidden from him.

U.S. President Donald Trump is in the news a lot. From officially being the third president to be impeached, to not believing in climate change, while also choosing to serve McDonald’s to football champions in the White House, his constant opinions and decisions always seem to be the height of controversy.

Besides the decisions that he makes on a political level, many people have expressed their concern over Trump’s diet. Between being photographed eating a plethora of fast food, to BuzzFeed exhibiting what the president allegedly eats in a day, it appears that he does not eat a balanced diet whatsoever.

Now, a new titbit of information has come out. The president supposedly has to be tricked to eat his vegetables. In a recent interview with The New York Times, Trump’s doctor Ronny Jackson reveals that he has been trying to work alongside the president so he can become healthier.

His plans are to help Trump lose 10 to 15 pounds by potentially bringing an elliptical machine or exercise bike into the White House, as well as work on his diet.

“The exercise stuff never took off as much as I wanted it to,” Jackson stated. “But we were working on his diet. We were making the ice cream less accessible, we were putting cauliflower into the mashed potatoes.”

So far, the plans haven’t helped Trump shake of the extra weight, as the president is said to have gained four pounds since his last physical.

As Jackson is moving away from his post, he is saddened to see that his implemented plan has not worked, but has said that Trump probably bigger things to focus on at the moment.
