Dave Graney and The Mistly have released their new record Play Mistly For Me and announced live dates in May.

The new digital-only album is the first of the band’s two records to be released in 2015 and features a collection of live recordings from their shows over the years. What’s unique about the record is that it was all recorded on a hard disc recorder with “no direct feeds from a desk or mics on any instruments”, allowing the listener to re-live the authentic live experience.

In addition to the new release, Dave Graney and The Mistly will be performing a number of live dates around the country.

Dave Graney and the Mistly will be playing at Camelot Lounge in Marrickville on Friday May 29, Coogee Diggers on Saturday May 30 and The Royal Exchange in Newcastle on Sunday May 31. Their album is available from their Bandcamp.
