As we gleefully reported last week, Eminem was awarded AU$535,000 in a lawsuit after the New Zealand National Party stole his biggest hit, ‘Lose Yourself’, for a 2014 advertising campaign.

A suspiciously-similar tune soundtracked a television commercial that ran over 200 times. Considering the musical bed was even named ‘Eminem-esque, the halfway crooks at the National Party didn’t really have a leg to stand on when Eight Mile High filed the lawsuit.

While we’d prefer he poured the money into building his own Michael Jackson-esque theme park named Shadyland, Marshall has instead announced his proceeds will be donated to hurricane relief for those affected by recent disasters in North and Central America. That’s also a good use of the money, we suppose.

Slim Shady. Doing for the kids, since 1999.
