Legendary American singer and pianist Leon Russell will release a new studio album,Life Journey, on Friday April 4.
Russell has entertained the world for five decades, starting as a Wrecking Crew session player, and playing on hundreds of hit records before he began releasing his own albums in 1967.
Life Journeyis a combination of original songs and celebrations of the songs of other writers.
Russell will celebrate his 72nd birthday on April 2.
Life Journeyis out on Universal Music on April 4.
