Conor Oberst, the musician behind esteemed projectsBright Eyes, Monsters Of Folk and Desaparecidos, is bringing his solo show to the Sydney Opera House in February.

The one-off show, exclusive to Sydney, will see the Nebraskan songwriter perform his seventh solo albumRuminationsin its entirety.

The record was released in October and has gone on to achieve international acclaim, but this performance represents a return to its conception – recorded in the space of 48 hours after Oberst took a break fromDesaparecidos’ tour dates citing exhaustion and anxiety.

Oberst takes over the Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House on Monday February 27. Tickets go on sale 9am Friday December 9.
