Taking on the important role of supporting local artists, The World Bar has announced a new competition to showcase Sydney’s own emerging talent.
Teaming up with A Red Letter Day and Burgess Bookings, The World Bar is set to liven the Kings Cross scene even further with the opportunity for up-and-coming musicians to be discovered on the rise. Warming up the first set in Heat 1 are featured artists Flaccid Mohawk, RYSE, Marko Markovic& The Junky Bunch, Heart of Mind, Dan Crestani, 3 Boys & A Fire, The Fragile Kind, Killing Lennon, Now or Never, Lion Calamity, GinKinta, The Still Shadows and Into The Wild, with more to be announced.
The World Bar will be hosting the first round on Thursday April 2, and will run on Thursday nights through to June. Be sure to stay tuned for upcoming heats.
