Brisbane rock outfit Smoking Martha are heading out on an east coast tour in support of their fiery new single.

The band’s latest track ‘Say You’re Mine’was inspired by fears of commitment and isolation.

It deals with the emotions and grief of being held at arm’s length from truly connecting with someone,” said the chief songwriter Tasha D. “The music really delivers that roller coaster of emotion with the feeling you are on the brink of letting loose.”

First forming in 2012, the group have since toured with rigorous dedication and played alongside acts including Everclear, Prophets of Addiction, Seether and Cherie Currie.

They’ll hit Frankie’s Pizza on Thursday December 1.
