The next Game of Thrones cameo could be… Justin Bieber?

Justin Bieber has just cancelled the last 14 dates of his 18-month tour, telling fans he needs some rest, but maybe what he really needs is a short vacation in Westeros to clear his head? If the stars of the show have any say in the matter (and it seems they do), that might just happen.

The show came under fire recently for featuring Ed Sheeran in an extended cameo appearance, which it turns out was done in part as a surprise for actress Maisie Williams aka Arya Stark. But if Sophie Turner aka Sansa Stark had her way, Justin Bieber would be the next enormous pop star to show up in the medieval fantasy.

“I told her by accident!” Turner told ET (via SPIN), referring to the moment when she broke the news to her Sheeran-mad co-star. “I was like, ‘Oh, when’s Ed Sheeran coming on the show?’ But yeah, they kind of did it as a surprise.

“I was kind of mad because I’ve been talking about [Justin] Bieber coming on the show for a while now, but it’s fine. I’m over it.”

If they can lure a star like Sheeran onto the show, having an appearance by another huge pop singer isn’t out of the question either – and the misbehaving Bieber of old wasn’t all that dissimilar to a certain reviled King, either…
