The Sydney Blues & Roots Festival, head annually in Windsor, has announced its first round of artists for 2014.

Headlining the festival this year are The Black Sorrows, fronted by Joe Camilleri and coming off the back of their 17th album release. That’s a lot of sorrow.

Joining them are Peter D. Harper’s blues outfit, Harper & Midwest Kind, and Nashville-based Aussie Rick Price. There’ll also be a Robert Johnson tribute, Spectrum, Hey Gringo and many more.

The Sydney Blues & Roots Festival 2014 takes place from Thursday October 23 – Sunday October 26 at Hollands Paddock, Windsor.
