The Whitehouse Institute of Design are hosting Awaken this month – a “bright, contemporary and engaging” exhibition that marks 100 years of the Red Cross in Australia.

The night will include contributions from Australian designers, as well as live and interactive art, contemporary design night markets and live entertainment. Established in 1914, the Australian branch of the international Red Cross movement has helped countless vulnerable Australians ever since, be it due to natural disaster or everyday crisis.

With all proceeds from the evening going to Red Cross Australia, it’s a colourful way to assist a good cause.

Awaken takes over 2 Short St, Surry Hills from 7pm on Saturday June 21. For more info and tickets visit awaken100event.com.
