Campion Decent’s latest play about the loss of both his parents will show at the Griffin Theatre from August.

Tragi-comedy is an oxymoron to some, but others can see humour in the worst situations.Campion falls into the latter category, and dealt with devastating loss in the best way he knew – by writing about it. You might expect the result to be sombre, and you’d be right, but it’s not without a good dose of humour. The result is a deeply personal meditation on life, death and parenting.
