The 10th Coopers AMP has announced the shortlist for its 2014 prize, narrowing down the 65-album longlist to just nine finalists.
The shortlist features nine acts from around Australia, all competing to be judged the best album of 2014. The winner will receive $30,000 in prizemoney at the award ceremony in March.
The winner is decided by a panel of 15 judges, including music journalists, record store owners and musicians including Urthboy, Dave Faulkner and Sam Lockwood.
