In Partnership with 7-Eleven
Australia’s favourite Slurpee connoisseur, 7-Eleven, and Sydney-based fashion label Double Rainbouu launched their limited edition capsule collection at Camp Cove Kiosk in Watson’s Bay. Rolling Stone Australia has all the goss and pics from the day.
Ice cold Shakes and Slurpees in the sun, under the protection of a bucket hat, with your fave summer fit is undoubtedly one of the best parts of the season and this year worlds combined with 7-Eleven and Sydney-based label Double Rainbouu partnering on the capsule collection of your dreams.
On Friday December 1st, these two icons combined to launch the line at Camp Cove Kiosk, Watsons Bay. After a week of rain, the sun came out to play and created the perfect background for the debut of the five-piece collection.
Celebrating both the first day of summer and the one-of-a-kind unisex collab, attendees were able to enjoy the sunshine with an ice cold beverage from the 7-Eleven Slurpee station.
Indie darling alt-pop artist Yb. was in attendance, along with neo-pop star Lola Scott. They were joined by the who’s who of content creators and fashion darlings, checking out the collection and soaking up the good vibes.
On the day, Rolling Stone Australia was in attendance to check in with the event goers and ask them their dream Slurpee flavours.
As well as soaking up the sun and sampling some Slurpees, attendees also got a peek at the Double Rainbouu and 7-Eleven capsule collection featuring two signature Hawaiin shirts, a peaked cap, a bucket hat and a beach bag.
The collection, which dropped exclusively on the Double Rainbouu website in strictly limited quantities on December 1, is based around the tagline ‘Paradise 24/7’ and custom designed by Double Rainbouu creative director and founder Mikey Nolan, the former creative director of cult denim brand Ksubi.
The two Hawaiian shirts retail at the special 7-Eleven price of $71.11. Hats and caps are priced at $39, while the beach bag is just $19.
