Tamworth Country Music Festival is the largest music festival in Australia, country or otherwise, spanning ten massive days with over 700 acts playing across more than 2,800 events. Phew!
Despite this epic, successful event, there are plenty of people who have no idea of the breadth and depth of the contemporary country music scene.
As a country music fan, it can get rather tiring to hear naysayers trots out the same tired cliches over and over again.
To celebrate Tamworth Country Music Festival, and to bemoan those who just don’t understand, we’ve taken a light-hearted look at the nine struggles only country music fans truly understand.
