90s nostalgia has truly swept the world by storm in recent years. From the revival of mom jeans to the popularity of tiny glasses, so many modern fashion, music and culture trends pay direct homage to the much-loved era.

Now, a television hallmark that spanned the decade is set to make a return.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that a reboot of the Greatest TV Show of the 90s, Beverly Hills 90210, is in the works. According to People, CBS Television Studios are behind the production and a slew of the original cast members are tied to the project.

The OG gang, Kelly, Donna, David and Steve were spotted grabbing coffee together earlier this week, with multiple outlets noting that the group were meeting with producers to discuss the new series in which the actors will not be reprising their original roles.

90210

Beverly Hills, 90210 is undeniably the greatest dramedy-soap opera-high school/college romper show of all time.

From the over the top storylines that were entirely unrelatable to a good 90% of its audience to its “poor little rich kid” sympathizing and its rollicking, iconic instrumental theme song, the show is a total landmark in pop culture history.

Without 90210, sundresses and Doc Martens would not be a “look”. Buffon male hair would never have made its way to Edward Cullen in Twilight. Brian Austen Green would have never have plastered the walls of teenagers globally. Forget Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill and The OC, nothing beats the trials and tribulations of the gang that navigated their way through Beverly Hills High and the very real California University together.
