Apple is getting nifty with their new round of products, if this new reveal is anything to go by.
As the Apple vs. Samsung competition continues, new products are being conceptualised and prepared for a brand new year of tech releases.
Most recently, Apple have seemingly come up with their own product to match the Samsung Galaxy Fold, according to AppleInsider.

The flexible display and adjustable sections of the smartphone is no easy task, but both brands have found ways to do it.
According to AppleInsider, a specific patent titled ‘Electronic Devices With Flexible Displays and Hinges’ has been published by the US Patent and Trademark Office. As indicated in the patent, Apple is developing a mobile unit that is able to fold in half without affecting the display.

Without getting super technical, Apple’s solution is to create a device that curves more and can bow outward, alleviating stress on the display itself.
It isn’t the first time Apple has toyed with the idea of integrating flexible displays into their phone designs. The company filed for a patent back in 2018 which similarly explained designs for screens that can have numerous elements in place to help with innovative folds.
There has been no purported release date or official update on this new product from Apple, but it’s definitely not the first big move the company is making in the market this year.
Apple has already been getting one up on competitors, with reports of a new, more affordable iPhone due for release this year.
