Aaron Waters has vehemently denied ever bullying Courtney Stubbs during their time on Love Island Australia season three.
Both Aaron and Courtney were OG islanders on the show, and paired up in the first coupling. Aaron was recently cast on Love Island UK, and in his promo video Aaron says the first girl he coupled up in the villa was his “least favourite”.
After seeing the clip, Courtney took to TikTok in tears and claimed that specifically skin-shamed and body-shamed her on the show.
However, Aaron has now denied the claims, saying that he would have been kicked off the show if he had acted that way.
“The video frustrated me because I didn’t do those things, we just didn’t get along, but I never bullied you,” Aaron told former Islanders Matt and Anna on their podcast Where’s Your Head At?.
He continued, “Do you know what a bully is? The definition of a bully isn’t not getting along with someone.
“We just don’t get along. Not everyone gets along with everyone, so it was very like… what the fuck?”

When the host Anna asked if they’d been a miscommunication between the two reality stars, Aaaron said it wasn’t the case.
“I wouldn’t call it a miscommunication,” he said.
“I had arguments with Courtney on the show, we never saw eye to eye, that’s Love Island, you argue with people.”
“But, they are my preferences, I still want a girl who takes care of themselves and goes to the gym, but I never once told her that [I like a girl with clean skin] I would have never said I don’t like a girl because of their skin.”
Aaron elaborated on ITV’s rules, the company that produce the show.
“I didn’t say those things in there, ITV wouldn’t have allowed it, you get three warnings and I didn’t get one,” he said.
“If you make a derogatory comment you’re gone, so none of that ever happened.”
