Ever had sex in the ocean? Me neither. Abbie Chatfield opened up about her attempt to do just that this week, unsurprisingly admitting that the experience was “stressful.”

On her Hot Nights with Abbie radio show, Chatfield discussed having sex in the strange location. “It was so stressful, having sex in the ocean,” she recalled. While she acknowledged that it was unlikely anyone would have noticed them, Chatfield had bigger concerns.

“What if I got a sea urchin up there,” she comically pondered. Her co-host Rohan Edwards appreciated that line, adding that she should have been nervous about sharks passing by with their iPhones at the ready.

The sex-positive star recently revealed that she “finally” had sex with someone who wasn’t her boyfriend Konrad Bien. The couple are in an open relationship, although Bien has been sleeping with more other people than Chatfield.

“I finally rooted someone, which is nice. Good for me.” she told her podcast listeners last month, adding: “It was nice, that’s all I’m gonna say. Moving on.” Presumably this encounter took place in a standard bed and not in the salty sea.

That came after Chatfield had explained that she hadn’t had sex with her boyfriend in several weeks. We’ve only had one night together like an actual night where I’m not working or we’re not away from each other, and that was last night” she said.

“But I’m also not really masturbating either because I’m having a really hard time with my libido. And I was talking to my therapist because I was like OMG does that mean that I don’t actually have feelings for Konrad? Which I do obviously. It’s not Konrad. I can’t be fucked. And also my UTI issues. It’s just like I can’t really be bothered with this.”
