Australian TV personality Abbie Chatfield has announced that she’s “finally” had sex with someone who isn’t her boyfriend Konrad Bien.
Chatfield and Bien have both previously spoken in-depth about being in an open relationship. However, Chatfield has recently shared that she’s been too busy to sleep with other people, while Bien has had sex with multiple women since debuting their relationship.
Now, The Bachelor star has opened up about her recent experience on her podcast It’s a Lot.
“I finally rooted someone, which is nice. Good for me.” She told listeners, adding: “It was nice, that’s all I’m gonna say. Moving on.”
The development comes after Chatfield revealed earlier this month that she hadn’t had sex with Bien in weeks.
“We haven’t had sex in like 3.5 weeks. We’ve only had one night together like an actual night where I’m not working or we’re not away from each other, and that was last night” she said on her radio show Hot Nights with Abbie .
“But I’m also not really masturbating either because I’m having a really hard time with my libido. And I was talking to my therapist because I was like OMG does that mean that I don’t actually have feelings for Konrad?”

“Which I do obviously. It’s not Konrad. I can’t be fucked. And also my UTI issues. It’s just like I can’t really be bothered with this.”
“I don’t have time for a UTI I was like like I’m not eating I’m not sleeping. So she was like, in terms of like, this helped me a lot because she was like in terms of like – this helped me a lot not feeling guilty – Maslow’s hierarchy of needs she was like you aren’t eating or sleeping, that’s the base level, so once you get that down pat you’ll wanna fuck.”
‘Maslow’s hierarchy of needs’ is a theory that says humans are motivated by five basic categories of needs and lists them by importance.
In March, Chatfield shared that Bien had gotten intimate with two women.
“Everyone’s going to be very happy… but something’s gone wrong,” she admitted on her radio show Hot Nights with Abbie on Monday.
“So obviously being open means we can sleep with other people… the whole point. Unfortunately, I’m not doing the second part. So I’m being monogamous,” Chatfield said on her radio show.
She added, “I wanted to and I still want to, but the issue is Konrad is the only one that seems to be able to get laid around here.”
“I’m over it… I’m so busy and also I find it really hard to find people I want to sleep with and that don’t know who I am. And when I go out people just take photos of me the whole time.
“I’m upset because he’s now slept with two people and I’m happy for him obviously. But I’m also like, when will it be the Chatfield’s turn? I have no prospects in sight.”
