The Adidas Ultraboost DNA X Lego Plates shoes are the perfect purchase for the inner children within us all.
Everybody hates a bit of LEGO in their shoe. But on their shoe – we’re totally on board with that.
With that in mind, the absolute bloody masterminds at Adidas have crafted the kicks of every LEGO fan’s dreams – the Adidas Ultraboost DNA X Lego Plates shoes. And we thought we were excited about the ZX silhouette.
Words don’t do these beauts justice, so take a quick squiz below.

As The Verge reports, the sneakers feature three transparent plastic LEGO strips in a two-by-six size on either side. To compliment that, each package will come with a small collection of two-by-two squares in primary colours that you can actually attach to the plates in whatever combo your heart desires.
Yes, it’s now totally acceptable to literally wear LEGO blocks while on the move. What a world we live in. Adidas claims that if you want to further customise your look you can sub in blocks from home, but it’s yet to be determined how well that will actually work.
And the homages don’t stop there. Just in case you really want to show off your LEGO-y love, you’ll find the nostalgic logo on the tongue, as well as raised studs on the top and bottom of the shoe. Even the interior sole is saturated in bright yellow and looks like a nostalgic base plate. Absolutely adorable.
Outside of the LEGO nods, the core of the shoe has been constructed with Primeblue, Adidas’ high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic.
Luckily, while the US have to wait until tomorrow to get the runners, us Aussies can grab them right now via Adidas’ online store. Just be prepared to put a decent dent in your wallet, as they’re retailing for $320.
Can you put a price on love?
