Controversial The Block bidder Adrian Portelli is making waves again – by giving away the house he bought.

Controversial The Block bidder and buyer Adrian Portelli is all set to ruffle feathers again. It seems Portelli is giving away the house he bought on the show from contestants Ankur and Sharon.

According to his promotion company LMCT+, Portelli is parting with the house or three million dollars ‘tax-free’ cash for an upcoming raffle. This wouldn’t come as a surprise to fans who have been following the show, however. Shortly after Portelli bought the house, he indicated on Instagram that he did not have intentions to keep it.

The house is one of four raffle packages being offered by his company. Winners will have the choice to either take the house or the money.

“This is our biggest ever giveaway and if you do not want the house, you can take $3 million in tax-free cash to build your own dream life for you and your family,” the raffle website read.

“This is going to be drawn in just a few weeks, so don’t wait. Grab a package and lock your name into the draw and when Adrian makes that phone call, what are you going to chose [sic]? “The Block house? Or the $3 million cash alternative?” read the post.

Portelli’s appearance on this season of The Block created controversy due to his alleged connections with winners Omar and Oz. Portelli fiercely competed with millionaire Danny Wallis for House Five, and his case wasn’t helped by Omar and Oz referring to him as ‘our boy’.

Surprising everyone, however, he bought Sharon and Ankur’s property shortly after the show wrapped. In a subsequent statement, he also cleared up allegations about him being a ‘dummy bidder’

“For everyone questioning the legitimacy of the auction, I was a genuine buyer with every intention to purchase that property. Nobody is to blame for what happened. It’s an auction. Believe it or not but if you’ve got two people that genuinely want the property, a bidding war will commence.” he wrote on Instagram.
