AFL player Tom Green has made a very public plea for a date with popstar Dua Lipa saying that he is “in love” with her.

During a chat with the official AFL website, the Greater Western Sydney Giants player revealed his crush on the singer.

“Honestly, I am in love with her,” Green chuckles. “She is stunning. Like, she is seriously stunning. And she’s also a fantastic performer. Please, feel free to include this. Make sure it reaches her: Dua, I love you.”

Green told the publication that he attended Dua Lipa’s concert in Australia last year and paid extra for the floor tickets up the front. “She was unbelievable,” he said.

During the same interview, Green hinted that his top three played songs for 2022 were by the American singer when he shared that he was too embarrassed to post his Spotify Wrapped on social media.

“I would love to have posted it on Instagram, but I had the top three all from the same artist and the same album – and they were also three songs in a row, it was seriously a three-song stretch from the same album – so I couldn’t put that up,” he said.

He added, “It just can’t go up. It would feel like I’ve just let it play. I wasn’t comfortable with it. You’ve got to have some variety. It’s a bit of a waste. If you’re doing it with songs from the same album or the same person, you’re wasting everyone’s time.”

Unfortunately for Green, Dua Lipa is reportedly dating American rapper Jack Harlow. Prior to meeting her, the rapper released a song titled ‘Dua Lipa’ that’s received over 124 million streams on Spotify. The two celebrities met at Variety’s 2022 Hitmakers Brunch last year, and have reportedly struck up a romance since.
