ALDI is flogging the SodaStream for $70 this weekend

To all you fucking freaks that like sparkling water, this news will warm the cockles of your heart. This weekend ALDI will be flogging the cult soda machine SodaStream for the tuppence. 

The Special Buys middle aisle this weekend is a treasure trove of economically savvy homewares. You’ll be able to cop reusable cutlery, drinkware, and beeswax wrap. The crown jewel, however, is the $69.99 (nice) SodaStream.

It’s a legit SodaStream as well, if capitalism has convinced you that mass-recognised brand names are indicative of product quality. You won’t have to deal with having vaguely on the nose SodaSquirt or a ScooshStream looming in the back corner of your cupboard.

The ALDI special will kick off on Saturday, June 20th. It’ll come with a 60L gas cylinder and a one-litre bottle. If you’ve never experienced an ALDI Special Buys weekend sale, prepare for war. I’m of the personal opinion that carbonated water of any kind is completely chat. I’m also suspicious that anything that requires a cylinder of gas to be made should probably not be ingested as a refreshing beverage. Different strokes, different folks I suppose.

There is a small, depraved part of my soul that yearns to cop one of these bubbly boys with the sole intention of transforming a bin end bottle of savvy b into a truly corrupt goblet of champers. Only time will tell if I succumb to these vices.
