The inimitable Amanda Palmer is bringing her one-woman show to the stage of the Sydney Opera House in January.

An Evening With Amanda Palmer will see the outspoken and sometimes controversial punk cabaret performer strip her set back to its most intimate form, as she returns to the venue that inspired her 2011 albumAmanda Palmer Goes Down Under.

Speaking ahead of the summertime visit, Palmer says fans should expect: “Just me. Piano. Songs. Some old songs, some new songs, lots of feelings, lots of ridiculousness. Certainly wine. Babies and piano and wine actually go together phenomenally.”

Palmer plays the Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House on Saturday January 21. Tickets are on sale 9am Friday October 14.
