Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been arrested after their luxe Romanian villa was raided by police who were tipped off from a clue Tate himself left on social media.
Tate was pictured outside the home being led away in handcuffs by police in balaclavas.
The brothers have reportedly been the subject of an investigation for the alleged kidnapping of two young women, and were issued warrants in relation to forming an organised criminal group, international human trafficking, and rape.
Their villa was raided by the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism in Bucharest, according to local media reports.
Back in April, authorities found two young women, including one US citizen, in a Voluntari villa. Both women claimed they had been held against their will, and the brothers were questioned but then released.
Yesterday, Tate shared a video to Twitter after being shut down by teen climate activist Greta Thunberg.
“Thank you for confirming via your email address that you have a small penis @GretaThunberg,” he captioned the video. “The world was curious. And I do agree you should get a life.”

In the video, Tate was seen sitting at a table smoking a cigar, with a pizza box from Jerry’s Pizza – a popular Romanian pizza chain – on the table at one point.
Local news outlet Gandul reported that anti-mafia prosecutors were monitoring the brothers’ social media accounts, and this was all the proof they needed that the Tates were back in the country.
Romanian authorities needed proof that Andrew Tate was in the country so they reportedly used his social media posts. His ridiculous video yesterday featured a pizza from a Romanian pizza chain, Jerry's Pizza, confirming he was in the country.

George Takei summarised events in his tweet: “So… Elon Musk let Andrew Tate back on Twitter, and Tate promptly used it to reveal his whereabouts to authorities in Romania who then arrested him,” he wrote.
“All because Greta Thunberg owned him so hard his little wee-wee fell off. Do I have that right? Please say I have that right.”

The brothers – who are British citizens – moved to Romania in 2017, and Tate claimed in a now-deleted video on his YouTube channel that “40 per cent” of the reason he moved there was because Romanian police were less likely to pursue charges like rape.
“I’m not a rapist, but I like the idea of just being able to do what I want,” he said. “I like being free.”
